Manage promotions and discounts from the LogiCommerce BackOffice: how it works

Promotions are a powerful tool for increasing conversion, rewarding clientes and adapting your pricing strategy to cada mercado. Pero configurarlas no debería ser un proceso complejo. Create discounts easily with a guided assistant

To start, access Settings → Discounts and click New discount.
A guided wizard opens and walks you through each step.

First, you assign an identifier and add the discount name in all the languages available in your online store. This ensures consistency across every market where your store operates.

Choose the type of discount you want to apply

On the next screen, LogiCommerce displays all the discount types you can configure.
In the example from the video, we select Fixed amount, and the system presents three options. We choose Apply to the total order.

This step determines how the discount will be calculated and applied in your store.

Add conditions to activate the discount

Next, you define the conditions that must be met for the discount to activate.
Click Add condition, and a list of condition types appears.

In the example:

  • We select Units purchased
  • Choose From X units
  • And enter 3 as the minimum quantity

You can add as many conditions as needed to make the discount more specific.

For instance, the video adds a Location condition, where the system shows only countries that were previously configured as active sales areas.
We select Spain, so the discount applies only to customers in that country.

Once conditions are set, you define the discount value—in the example, €10—and confirm the parameters.

Another example: promotions activated by discount codes

A very common scenario is creating promotions activated by a discount code.

The process is just as simple:

  • Create a new identifier and apply the name in all store languages.
  • Choose whether the discount applies to all products or only specific ones.
  • Add a new condition and select Activated by discount code.
  • Enter the promotional code—for example, WCOM20.
  • Define the discount percentage (20% in the video example).
  • Activate the discount.

Once activated, the promotion becomes available in the online store for customers to see and use.

All these options allow brands to build promotions that truly adapt to their business logic:

  • Discounts applied by order value, units or product selection
  • Promotions limited to specific countries
  • Codes that activate percentage or fixed-amount discounts
  • Control over visibility and activation with no technical complexity
